About the Forest Edge Cabin

Nestled against the forested slopes of Mount Rainier, The Forest Edge Cabin invites you with its rugged mountain cabin exterior, only to surprise you with its contemporary and comfortable interiors. It’s a mountain cabin dream with all of the comforts of home.

The living area features deep, comfortable couches clustered around a charming wood-burning stove. The adjoining kitchen and dining area is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the slopes or trails for which the region is famed. The main bathroom is just off the kitchen and includes a ceramic tub, heated floors, a separate glass encased shower, and solid slate tile floors.

A rustic ladder leads up to the cozy sleeping loft, with a queen bed, a full, and a twin. There's plenty of room for family and friends! The two downstairs bedrooms both have plush queens.

Whatever brings you to the mountains, you’ll find this home a wonderful respite from your day-to-day life. In summer, enjoy the front and back cedar decks with built-in seating, great spots to take your morning coffee. And in the evening, gather around the river-rock firepit! Up to two dogs are welcome with our standard, per dog, per night fee.
